I've just got back from Tour JO-Petra and Wadi Rum and wanted to let you know that it was absolutely awesome. We have all seen the iconic pictures of the Siq and Treasury at Petra but nothing prepared me for how overwhelming the whole site is. Standing on the High Place of Sacrifice looking over at the area I wondered just how much there is still to discover-it is a vast site. Also the sun shining on the Monastery-wow, well worth the climb...
Please pass on my thanks to our guide Issa. He did very well to keep us in order!! He shared his love of the country with us. Jordan is a small country but packed with history, geography and nature. I have been spreading the word with my friend Issa, that Jordan is the place to go.
