We are now safely back after a truly memorable visit to your country. Everything worked out close to 100%... Mischal was absolutely reliable, and a superb driver who looked after us very well. We were very glad to have his services. We had full guide service at Petra and Jerash as promised, and in the other locations we either took a local guide or an audioguide at very reasonable cost. The hotels were truly magnificent, providing great comfort, excellent service, and wonderful food...
The trip was fantastic! They really enjoyed the whole trip, the hotels, the surroundings and locals, and everything was organized so well. They wanted to bring their complements to their guide Ahmed (or Achmed?). He was super. They really enjoyed his stories and enthusiasm. And also tho their driver (Mahmoud). He was also very good! So thanks so much for everything :).
The view is really beautiful here. The soft Irish brogue was unmistakeable and the speaker was Othman Qandeel our driver and guide on the AtlasTours to Jordan. He spent some of his childhood in Coleraine, N Ireland and his command of English, and understanding of what a western European would want from such a holiday was first class. This particular view was of sunset at Wadi Rum where the scale of the landscape, the silence of the desert and the complexity of the geology is absolutely stunning. Other highlights at Petra, Jerrash, the Dead Sea and the sea at Aqaba completed our itinerary, skilfully put together by AtlasTours... So well done AtlasTours and Othman. A memorable holiday.
